If Senator Tayo Alasoadura had known his money would offend the victims, he would have extended his condolence and kept his 1 million naira.

But the senator representing Ondo Central in the red chamber ought to have known better.

The Chairman, Senate committee on Petroleum (UPSTREAM) had made the announcement recently while paying a sympathy visit to the affected area in Akure.
