Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, who was presumably ill, has appeared at a public function in Kogi State.

Aisha, who was allegedly flown to a German hospital over her ill health, on Saturday visited Kogi to campaign for the re-election bid of her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari.

She urged the Kogi women and youths to vote for her husband in the forthcoming presidential election, saying Nigeria will remain safe in his hands.

The First Lady stated this during a town hall meeting organised by the women and youths moblisation arm of President Buhari campaign organisation being coordinated by the Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Hajia Salamatu Umar-Eluma, in Lokoja, the state capital.

She spoke through the wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osibanjo, who represented her at the event.

She said, “Nigeria is safe in the hands of my husband because he will not steal Nigeria’s money and he is a very prudent man.”
