Nigeria international Ahmed Musa is enjoying a good run of form at his Saudi Arabian club and he has now netted his fifth goal Al Nassr.

Musa’s latest strike is a warning signal to Libya ahead of the all-important 2019 Africa Nations Cup (AFCON) qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on October 13.

Musa, who has been in brilliant form since he moved to Asia was on target for in the 5-1 demolition of Al Hazm in the Saudi Premier League on Friday night.

He scored the opening goal in the 26th minute, with teammates Giuliano getting a brace, while Nordin Amrabat and Mohammed Sahlawi added the fourth and fifth respectively.

Only last month, Musa grabbed the headlines for his hat-trick exploits against Al Qadisiyah which earned him the player of the month award. 

Besides scoring four times for Al Nassr, the pacy winger has also created two assists.

Musa is expected in the Eagles camp in Uyo next week for the first leg which Nigeria needs to win. The return leg is scheduled for Tunisia on October 16.

Interestingly, Libya coach Adel Amrouche has identified Ahmed Musa as the player they must stop when they take on Nigeria in next month’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations double header.
