Super Eagles star, Ahmed Musa may have landed himself in hot soup following reports from England that he was ‘arrested’ early Thursday morning on suspicion of battering his wife, Jamila.

The Sun report that Musa who plays for Leicester City was nicked at his home at 1am.

The report in the UK tabloid added that ten hours later two plain-clothed women officers arrived at the £850,000 five-bedroom detached property in the city’s Countesthorpe area.

“It is believed they spent another two hours taking a statement from his wife Jamila, mum to Musa’s two young children Ahmed Jnr and Halima. The paper reported.

“Police confirmed they held Musa, 24, on suspicion of common assault.” It added.

Just like many are shocked that Musa could be found in this type of act, one neighbor told The Sun: “Ahmed is a nice guy. He always has a friendly smile. I don’t know anything about his private life.”

Already, The Sun have confirmed that Musa has since returned home after the session with the Police and should be in training with the rest of his Leicester City teammates who are getting set to face Everton in the next round of games in the Premier League.
