Aguero Signs Contract Extension At Man City
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2020/2021 season.
Though he has indicated his desire to return to boyhood club Independiente, Man City will keep the player till he turns 33 years.
Aguero is City’s all-time leading goalscorer with 204 goals in 299 appearances, boasting 27 more goals to his name than anybody who has ever worn the sky blue shirt.
Aguero moved to Premier League club Manchester City in July 2011 for an undisclosed fee thought to be in the region of £35 million.
On the last day of his debut season with the club, he scored a 94th-minute winner against Queens Park Rangers that earned City its first league title in 44 years.
