The crises rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress may be taking a new dimension as protesters claiming to be supporters of President Buhari's re-election bid have again besieged the national headquarters of the party in Abuja demanding the sack of the party's National Chairman, John Odigie Oyegun.

The protesters, who earlier stormed the party’s headquarters on Friday returned to the place on Monday.

They manned strategic positions outside the APC headquarters singing war songs.

The protesters numbering over a hundred also displayed placards with various anti-Oyegun slogans.

Some of the inscriptions on the placards read: Oyegun is a big threat to Buhari’, ‘Oyegun must go’, ‘We don’t want Oyegun’.

Just like Friday, the protesters were not able to gain entrance into the premises of the party secretariat as they were prevented from accessing the main office building by a detachment of police and other security personnel guarding the secretariat.
