After 10 Days Sleep, Suspected Kidnapper Who Took Tramadol Dies
The suspected Kidnapper who allegedly took tramadol before operation in Owo, Ondo State is dead.
He was said to have slept for 10 days due to the effect of the drug, but died at the general hospital in Owo, Ondo State.
Confirming his death, the state police spokesman, Femi Joseph, said the police had attempted to revive the suspect so as to give a clue on the arrest of his gang members who are still at large.
A medical report made available by the general hospital indicated that the suspect died of complication which was believed to have resulted from the excessive intake of the drug.
The suspect, dead asleep, was arrested by the police after a botched attempt to abduct a pharmacist in Owo.
While the rest of his gang members allegedly escaped after their victim had raised an alarm, the suspect was said to have stumbled, fallen and slept off in concession to the strong effect of tramadol intake.
According to the police source, a gun and 400mg of tramadol was recovered from him.
