Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team, D’Tigress will on Wednesday depart the country for Mali where they will campaign at the 2017 Afrobasket Women’s championship.

Nigeria will play their first game against Mozambique on Saturday.

Coach Sam Vincent has announced his final squad of 12 players and 2 reserve for the championship.

Three members of the technical crew led by Vincent and 4 other backroom staff will lead the squad headed by federation Vice President, Babatunde Oguande.

The team will fly at 9:45am aboard an Air Cote d’Ivoire flight from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
