Nigeria was lucky to have their opening game rescheduled after they arrived late for the Africa Men Volleyball Nations Tournament in Cairo, Egypt.

The Nigerian team were scheduled to play Cameroon in their first game on Sunday, October 22, but the match will now hold on the 25th.

Explaining further, the president of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Musa Nimrod said it took the intervention of former boss and current member of CAVB, Habu Gumel to secure a shift in date.
