The Nigeria U-17 team, the Golden Eaglets will on Thursday know their group opponents at the 2019 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The draw for the tournament is set to be staged in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The ceremony will take place at the Mlimani City Conference Centre.

Hosts- Tanzania are seeded in Group A, while Guinea who finished third at the last edition of the competition are seeded in Group B.

The eight African U17 qualifying teams will be grouped into two as the tournament is expected to hold between 14th to 28th April 2019, in Tanzania.

The qualified eight teams are; the hosts, Tanzania, Angola, Cameroon, Guinea, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, and Uganda.

The four semifinalists will automatically qualify to represent Africa at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Peru 2019.
