Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr is already putting finishing touches to the roster of players that he would be inviting for this month’s crunch Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games against Libya.

While the quartet of Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Leon Balogun are sure bets for the Libya double header, it is understood that another Nigerian in the Premier League, Isaac Success is on the radar.

Having been limited by injuries in the past months, Success has been enjoying a steady season with Watford featuring in all their seven games so far in the EPL, albeit as a substitute.

The Nigerian forward has already scored two goals in Cup games for the Hornets while he was also in action last Saturday against Arsenal and almost scored at the Emirates.

With just one cap to his name, Success would indeed be delighted to get another look in from the national team handlers.

Three–time African champions, Nigeria got their first points of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying race when they beat the Pirates of Seychelles 3-0 in Mahé Island.

The victory over Seychelles gave the Super Eagles three points and wiped out the goal deficit from the loss to South Africa on Matchday 1.

Nigeria has failed to qualify for the last two editions of AFCON are they are understandably desperate to make it to the 2019 edition billed to take place in Cameroon.
