The family of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke seems to have kept to their promise of not trusting the Coroner inquest set up by Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

None of the family members showed up at the sitting of the panel on Wednesday.

The siblings of the deceased, Dr. Deji Adeleke; Mrs. Dupe Adeleke-Sani and Dele shunned the panel headed by a Chief Magistrate, Olusegun Ayilara, despite the summons issued to them.

The Commissioner of Police in Osun State, Fimihan Adeoye; Executive Director of Biket Hospital, Dr. Adebisi Adenle, Executive Secretary, Ede South Local Government, Johnson Ojo, were present at the sitting based on the summons issued by the coroner.

The coroner said the panel invited the family of the deceased but they did not turn up.

He stated that they would issue another summon to make sure they were present during the sittings.

The coroner said that the panel would not be able to take evidence because of logistic reasons and adjourned the case till May 15.
