Abia Warriors coach Abdullahi Usman Biffo has dedicated his side’s 2-0 win over Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) to out-injured striker Sunday Adetunji.

Adetunji, the current top scorer at Abia Warriors, suffered a fracture on his left arm in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week 33 clash against Lobi Stars.

Abia Warriors won the tie 4-2 away in Makurdi, but lost their top scorer to injury.

Adetunji has been receiving medical attention at the Federal Medical Center in Umuahia.

Following Sunday’s 2-0 win over 3SC, Biffo remembered his top gun.

"He (Adetunji) is a very important member of our team and we miss him so much.  All of us were worried when he sustained the injury and so we decided that the best thing to do for him would be to continue winning our games", Biffo said on the club’s website.
