Abducted Kaduna Islamic Preacher, Sons Regain Freedom
An Islamic preacher in Kaduna State, Malam Ahmad Garko, known as Al-Garkawy and his two sons have regained freedom.
There freedom was announced by the spokesman for the Kaduna State Police Command, Mukhtar Aliyu.
He told the News Agency of Nigeria that two suspects were arrested in connection with the cleric’s abduction, saying the victims were released about 6.30 p.m. on Sunday.
Their release was secured due to the pressure mounted by the security operatives.
“The two suspects are under investigation and the other suspects are under our trail.

“No ransom was paid as far as I know, he was released unhurt and he has reunited with his family.”
The Islamic preacher was abducted on August 2 while working in his farm in Maguzawa village in Igabi Local Government area in Kaduna State.
After their abduction, the police confirmed the incident in a press statement on August 3.
