Is no one listening to INEC warning?

The wonders of democracy especially Nigeria's brand of democracy are absolutely phenomenal. Al-Mustapha is obvious one of such beneficiaries.

The former Chief Security Officer to late Head of State, Sani Abacha has declared his intention to run for the office of president in 2019.

Al-Mustapha is gunning for the first seat on the platform of the Green Party of Nigeria (GPN).

This comes 7 months after the former CSO launched the party.

His campaign posters are currently decking walls and major streets in Abuja as well as online mediums.

Al-Mustapha’s declaration comes barely a week after Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State made his intentions known.

Al-Mustapha was appointed Chief Security Officer to the Head of State (CSOHS) with a Special Strike Force Unit during Abacha’s military regime (17 November 1993 – 8 June 1998).

The Independent National Electoral Commission has already fixed February 16, 2019 as the day Nigerians decide.
