A Destiny's Child Reunion Is Coming
Fans of 'Charlie's Angels' might just be getting more than a reboot, they could also be getting a reunion.
One of the outstanding soundtracks of the 2000, action-comedy which starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu, is the popular Destiny’s Child number "Independent Women".
A year ago, Sony Pictures announced that a reboot of the hit franchise will be hitting cinemas in the summer of 2019, with Elizabeth Banks as the director.
For the remake, Beyonce may be reuniting with Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland to create a song for the 'Charlies Angels' reboot which hits cinemas in 2019.
While the Angels haven't actually been cast for the reboot, it's been reported that Lupita Nyong'o and Kristen Stewart are in contention, and Nyong’o’s possible involvement is believed to be one of the main reasons the group is excited about making a return.
According to a source, there are some hitches to their reunion.
"The group is open to a reunion, but the delay has been caused by the fact that they would like complete ownership of their name and music, as both are still owned by Mathew Knowles.
''If they can come to an agreement that works for everyone the group will then begin official talks with Sony about the soundtrack."
