Banky W says he has been misunderstood.
The R&B singer in a new report has been accused of promoting Buhari’s re-election in 2019, through the 67Million Youth initiative.
Apart from Banky W, fellow musician Simi and TripleMG boss and entrepreneur, Ubi Franklin are also part of the project.
The Senior Special Adviser to the President on social Investment Programs, Ismael Ahmed is also on the list, and is reportedly in charge of the 67Million Youth Initiative.

But Banky W in a new Instagram post has denied the claims insisting that the initiative is 100% free of government influence.
He goes on to explain in his post that the initiative is a non-partisan method to get young people interested in voting at the upcoming general elections in 2019.
