Police Prosecutor, Oluwagbenga Salami on Monday insisted before a Surulere Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos that Lawrence Nwanze should be convicted for trafficking in hard drug.

He alleged that the accused “invited” some people to his compound at No. 5, Kofoworola Square, Surulere, to smoke hemp and also trade in the illicit act.

“A large amount of weeds suspected to be hemp was found on him and he could not give any satisfactory explanation how he came about it.”

‎Salami said the 60-year-old accused also conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace.
