Even though grew up in a mansion, he still has the sharpness of a street boy.

The leader of the 30-Billion-Gang says he outsmarted 50 policemen sent by his father to arrest him and his promoters during his first ever show.

The  superstar singer revealed this during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club a popular American radio show.

He is currently in America on his 'Locked Up' music tour.

Many of his fans did not know the extent of Davido’s billionaire father’s dislike for his son’s pursuit of music at the beginning of his career.

No one remembers because his father is presently his biggest supporter.

According to the DMW boss, his father was extremely angry with him for leaving school to do music, which prompted the arrest of his girlfriend, manager and also his promoter at the show.

He evaded the arrest by jumping over the fence.

"I remember the first show, I was upstairs in the green room, and was about to come down, I looked down and there were like 50 policemen. Back then they took my ex, they arrested her, they took my road manager, they arrested the promoter.

"I remember I went through the back fence, was running. I picked up the phone and my dad was like, if you don't come to the police station, all your friends are going to jail. I got to the police station and the policeman's phone starts ringing and it was my song playing. He let us go at some point," he said.
