Five Nigerians are presently cooling off in a jail in far away India.

They were arrested by Indian authorities for allegedly peddling drugs in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka.

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Karnataka Police reportedly identified the Nigerians as Peter Offor alias Baba, Chinedueze alias Remijus Eze, Fidelis Ezeh, Nonso Joachin and Valentine Chinedu.

The CCB allegedly seized Ketamine/Crystal Meth and other articles valued at Rs 2.50 lakh (about $3,900) from the culprits.

The substances seized include: 6.4 gram Cocaine, Ketamine/Crystal Meth 0.8 gram, 14 mobile phones, 3 Passports, portable Weighing Machine and 3 two wheelers.

Police have registered a case and are investigating.
