2018 is a great year for music in Nigeria.
The first half of 2018 has been blessed with amazing albums and one where Nigerian music has been recognized worldwide.
2018 has already witnessed projects from the likes of Seyi Shay, Adekunle Gold, 9ice, Humblesmith and DJ Neptune.
The second half of the year also promises to be exciting as more albums are scheduled to be unveiled.
While doing Nigeria and Africa proud by winning the Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards, Davido also stated that he will be releasing his sophomore album soon.

Wizkid - Made in Lagos
Wizkid promised his fans ‘all of him’ on an album that will have no features- ‘straight Wizkid’.
He announced that the upcoming album, will be called 'Made in Lagos'.
The Popstar has 3 albums, Superstar (2011), Ayo (2014) and Sounds From The Other Side (2017)
Davido - (Untitled)
Davido will also be releasing his sophomore album in 2018.
Although there is no official title, but we know it is coming out around September.
Davido had a great 2017, with songs like If, Fall and Fia topping all the charts, which accumulated to his wining Artiste of the year at the 2018 Headies Awards, and Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards.
Davido has one album in O.B.O, released in 2012 and an EP, Son of Mercy in 2016.
DMW - (Untitled)
Davido Music Worldwide has on its roaster Dremo, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Yonda, Idowest and recently Sauce Kid aka Sinzu.
Led by Davido, the group has created both solid individual tracks and collaborative hits with Mind and Aje which were released earlier in the year.
In an interview in May, Davido announced that DMW will release a collaborative album, which will help each artiste launch their personal projects.
It is obvious that the planned June date is no longer feasible, but the album will come out before the end of the year.
M.I - Yung Denzel
M.I Abaga is notorious for missing deadlines for release of his musical projects.
In February 2018, he took to his social media pages to announce that his eighth studio album, Yung Denzel, was coming in May, but no one took him seriously.
The May date passed and instead MI Abaga released an experimental playlist titled Rendezvous, he is yet to release the album Yung Denzel.
Fans are hopeful that before December 31, 2018, Yung Denzel will hit the music shelves.
Mr Eazi - Lagos to London
Mr Eazi seems to be making all the right moves.
From signing deals with Universal Music and Columbia Records to having concerts in the UK and Spain.
Mr Eazi will be releasing a follow up to the 2017 From Accra to Lagos EP in 2017.
The upcoming album is titled, Lagos To London Vol 2.
He has already shared two songs off the upcoming project.
