41 lucky Nigeria girls, who are victims of human trafficking to Mali, have been saved from the claws of their captors.

The victims who were allegedly deceived and taken to Mali for forced labour and sexual exploitation were brought back by the Nigeria Air Force.

The NAF working in collaboration with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant, Diaspora and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, returned the girls on Monday.

6 persons, alleged to be responsible for trafficking humans, were also arrested and brought back to the country alongside their victims.

They were received at the Hajj Camp area of the airport by officers of NAPTIP and the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS).
