1. He was born a Muslim
Adams Oshiomhole was born Muslim but was led to Christianity by his late wife Clara who died of cancer aged 54.
He is Catholic and his Christian name is Eric.
2. The signature khaki has a reason
You must have been wondering why Oshiomhole loves to wear his trade mark Khaki from his days as NLC chairman to the governorship days.
He once said he loves the khaki because "it is the attire of the common man".
3. He went through adult education
Adams Oshimhole attended Ruskin College, Oxford in the United Kingdom where he majored in economics and industrial relations.
This is an independent educational institution in Oxford, England that specialises in providing educational opportunities for adults with few or no qualifications.
The college is an affiliate of the University of Oxford; this relationship allows students special privileges such as attending lectures and the use of most facilities.
4. He was not originally in APC
Adams Oshiomhole was originally a member of the Labour Party.
He became an APC member after he entered a strategic alliance with the Action Congress of Nigeria ahead of the April 2007 Edo governorship election.
