3 Teachers Die In Lagos - Ibadan Expressway Crash
They were standing at a bus stop, waiting to get a commercial bus to their destination – Abeokuta when suddenly, a car lost control and rammed into them, killing three out of the four people on the spot.
Three secondary teachers lost their lives on the spot after a driver lost control around Alapako near Ogunmakin in the Ogun state end of the Lagos – Ibadan expressway on Monday, July 2nd.
One person was also injured in the accident which involved two males and four females who were waiting to board a commercial vehicle to Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
Bounce News gathered that the driver of a Camry car marked Toyota EPE 140 BP lost its front tyre in motion and immediately could not keep control of the vehicle, hitting four of the six victims.
The injured victim has been taken to Victory Hospital, Ogere, while the bodies of the dead teachers have been deposited at FOS mortuary, Ipara by the Federal Road Safety Corp.
This incident is coming weeks after the Ogun state chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, expressed concern over the rate of death of secondary school teachers in the state.
