3 Reasons Why We're Excited About The Return Of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"
After a 2-month break, popular family quiz show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" will return to screens in September.
The 13-year old source of entertainment and knowledge has got new sponsors and is set to air on September 3, 2017.
“We are pleased to inform the general public that the popular family quiz program "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Nigeria" will return to TV on September 3, 2017," organizers said in a statement.
“New season, new sponsors, whooping cash prizes to be won. Don’t miss any of the episodes.”
In June, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" host, Frank Edoho, announced a temporary break after MTN Nigeria withdrew their sponsorship.
However new sponsors, Airopay, a global international payments operator are set to bring the show back.
The first episode of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" aired on October 8, 2004.
Ahead of September, here are 3 reasons why we're excited about the return of WWTBAM:
1. We miss Frank Edoho’s voice when he introducing the show to numerous Nigerians across the country.
2. After Aroma Ufodike won the highest cash prize on the show in September 11, 2009, we are curious to know who would win 10 million naira again.
3. We're curious to see the spin the show will take in the wake of getting new sponsors.
