Tunde Jimoh, 37, Gbenga Babalade, 40, and Olatunji Hammed 42 took their love for money way too far.

They threw caution to the wind, conspired, killed and removed the heart of a trader for ritual purposes.

The trader, Akintoye Oyeyemi, was murdered in a cashew plantation, after his assailants received false information that he had 10 million naira with him.

After killing their victim, the suspects were said to have found only 100,000 naira on him.

Counsel to the third accused person, Mr Segun Popoola, pleaded for his bail but the presiding Chief Magistrate, Mrs Abiola Richard, denied the request.

She adjourned the case until May 8, 2017, while ordering the accused persons to be remanded in Agodi prison, Ibadan.
