2019: We Need To Unite To Stop Buhari & Atiku, Says Fela Durotoye
"It would take generational collaboration of all the parties to bring down the continuous recycling of leaders".
This is according to the presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), Fela Durotoye.
He said this on Monday while delivering his introductory speech at the Baba@80 Overtaking Overtake. This is part of events to celebrate Felabration2018.
Durotoye spoke on the need for the alternatives to unite and come up with a common voice that would be loud enough to beat the tactics deployed by the old brigade.
He admonished his co-candidates running on various platforms and those in the old generation that are discontent with governance in Nigeria to come together and end bad governance.
Durotoye says fighting the battle as individuals would make it impossible to end eras of deceit and conspiracies to manipulate the electorate.
He pointed out that if he wins the election next year, he would be the same age as Tafawa Balewa when he became prime minister of Nigeria-48.
