2019: Tinubu Targets 3 Million Votes From Lagos Alone
National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has set a target of votes he is expecting from Lagosians in the 2019 general elections.
APC organized a stakeholders meeting in Ikeja on Monday as campaigns heat up ahead of the 2019 polls.
Speaking to party members in Yoruba and off the record, Tinubu said APC must get three million out of the five million votes in Lagos.
He appealed to aggrieved members to accept the party decision and work for the APC.
Lagos and Kano states are the two most highly populated places in Nigeria where presidential candidates must pull large number of votes to win.
