2019: Thugs Fight Over Atiku’s Money During His Lagos Visit
The 2019 campaign hasn’t even started official but one presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar is already causing confusion with his money.
On Monday, the deep-pockets caused pandemonium when he visited the Lagos secretariat of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
The chaos was over the sharing of money given by former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar during his visit to the secretariat.
Many people including journalists scampered for safety as the thugs engaged themselves in a free for all fight.
Bottles flied freely as the thugs struggled to get their share of the money.

Bounce News correspondent Lekan Oladeinde, who was at the scene of the event, reported that trouble started when Atiku wanted to leave the venue of the meeting.
Some touts were said to have blocked the gate of the secretariat demanding that Atiku ‘settle’ them before leaving.
Atiku had earlier failed to address the PDP members because of a sudden downpour.
It took the intervention of armed policemen attached to Atiku, who fired teargas into the air and forced the gate open.
Despite being teargassed, the thugs followed Atiku into the main road on Adekunle Fajuyi.
When an aide to Atiku finally dropped huge bundles of naira notes, hell was let loose.
The scramble for the money resulted in injuries as security officials fired more tear gas into the air.
Some thugs were chased round the party secretariat by other thugs as they tried to escape with some bundles of naira notes.
