2019: See What PDP Is Saying About Cost Of APC Nomination Forms
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reacted to the high cost of nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The party said the high cost will encourage corruption by public office holders.
APC had on Wednesday said presidential aspirants would pay N45m, as against N55m fixed by the party last week.
The ruling party also disclosed that governorship aspirants would pay N2.5m for expression of interest form and N20m for the nomination form, making it N22.5m.
Senatorial aspirants will pay N1m for the expression of interest form and N6m for a nomination form.
In a post on Twitter, the National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan stressed that it will make looting mandatory if APC members win election into any office.
He wrote: “Have you seen APC cost of forms? Eeeewo!!!
“It encourages corruption and makes looting mandatory if their members ever won election into any of the offices. #corruptionwithoutlimits.”
