The Waziri Adamawa has begun his journey back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Atiku, who on Friday announced his resignation from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has engaged in series of meetings with PDP officials in Adamawa State and the entire Northeast.

The former Vice President has, so far, met with Adamawa PDP executives at all levels, state chairmen of the six states of the North-East and the National Vice Chairman (North-East) of the party.

On Friday, Atiku met with the Adamawa ward and state executives of the PDP.

He also met with the PDP National Vice Chairman (North-East), Emmanuel Njiwah, on Saturday.

The respective meetings were held at Atiku’s residence in Yola, Adamawa State capital.

The former Vice President, Bounce News gathered is expected to meet with the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led PDP National Working Committee (NWC) this week in Abuja on his plans to return to the PDP and seek their cooperation.

Atiku is also expected to meet Governors Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe) and Ishaku Darius (Taraba).
