The party is yet to fully constitute its PCC for the 2019 general elections, despite the lift of ban on campaigns by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The meeting would discuss and approve how the party would raise funds and prepare grounds for smooth state to state electioneering campaigns.

The PDP had in a statement on October 15, appointed Senate President Bukola Saraki as the Director General of its Presidential Campaign Council and six Zonal Campaign Coordinators, but did not appoint members of the Council.

The National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Kola Ologbongbodiyan confirmed the new date when contacted.
