Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday visited ex-President Goodluck Jonathan at his residence in Otuoke, Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

Obasanjo arrived Yenagoa, the state capital on Monday with other notable personalities for this month's Bayelsa praise night.

During the visit, the former presidents held a meeting with other dignitaries.

The meeting, which was held behind closed doors, also had in attendance former First Lady Patience Jonathan.

Obasanjo, who has become one of the frontline critics of the President Muhammadu Buhari's administration has been visiting political leaders across Nigeria ahead of 2019 general election.

Obasanjo has been pushing for the creation of a formidable coalition to form what he called the ‘third force’ with capacity to ensure that Buhari does not return to office in 2019.

It is believed that the meeting between the two former Presidents is related to the formation of the coalition.
