The second term ambition of the president may have brought two leading political foes together.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his main challenger in the 1999 presidential election Olu Falae are set to meet.

The agenda of meeting is how to unseat President Buhari in 2019.

The meeting is expected to hold on Tuesday at Obasanjo’s Abeokuta residence.

Tuesday’s meeting will the first between the duo since they faced-off in the 1999 presidential election.

It was gathered that during the meeting, Falae, who is the Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, and Obasanjo would strategise on how to bring all third force elements under one banner.

Personal Assistant to Falae, Capt. Moshood Raji (retd.), confirmed the scheduled meeting with Obasanjo.

He, however, said the meeting's agenda remains private and would therefore not disclose it content afterwards.

Falae had over the weekend visited former Military Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida to solicit for the former leader’s support and wise counsel.

Obasanjo, who is the leader of the Coalition for Nigeria Movement, had also been having talks with the Nigeria Intervention Movement and over 30 political parties.
