A former spokesman of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Ima Niboro says the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win 2019 elections by a sizable margin.

Niboro, who spoke in Warri, Delta State on Monday after the party’s state meeting said there is still time to resolve grievances within the ranks.

The former Presidential spokesperson, who is the immediate past Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria defected to the APC in December, 2017.

He noted that although there might be concern over the security challenges in the country, there is time to make amends.

Niboro stated that the APC was favoured in key demography of the country and that the party would cause an upset in Delta State.

He said: “This was amply demonstrated in the last LGA elections.

“It was an eye opener for the closed, almost dynastic system that has governed the state since 1999. But for the shenanigans of the state-controlled DSIEC, APC would have scored a major upset in that election.”

He urged members of the APC in state to keep faith and be united as the party remains the only viable option to bring about change in Delta.
