The All Progressives Congress in Ogun State on Thursday announced Noimot Salako-Oyedele, an indigene of the ado-Odo/Ota area, as the running mate of its governorship candidate, Dapo Abiodun.

Salako-Oyedele is the daughter of a former Special Adviser to late Prof. Olikoye Ransome-Kuti, a former Minister of Health.

The announcement came after a meeting held by the APC's leadership in the state.

A statement by the Director-General, Dapo Abiodun Campaign Organisation, said the choice of Salako-Oyedele was made by “the leaders, elders and stakeholders of the party after deliberations.”

The statement read, “Fifty-two-year-old Salako-Oyedele is a multi-talented professional with over 30 years of proven records of experience in consulting, contracting and real estate sectors. She is currently Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Glenwood Property Development Company Limited.”
