Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been drawn in Group A for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be hosted by France.

In the draw conducted on Saturday in Paris, Nigeria were drawn alongside host France, Norway and Korea Republic.

Group has South Africa, who finished runners-up behind Nigeria at the just-concluded Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, Spain, Germany and China People’s Republic.

Cameroon, who complete the number of African teams to the World Cup, is drawn in Group E alongside Canada, New Zealand and Netherlands.

The Super Falcons begin their campaign on June 9 against Norway at the Stade Auguste-Delaune in Reims.
