The 2019 elections is throwing up all shades of candidates but they have a common goal of unseating President Muhammadu Buhari after his first term in office.

The Professor on Saturday declared his intention to contest the presidential seat in the forthcoming 2019 general election under the Peoples Redemption Party, (PRP).

The PRP aspirant said if he is elected come 2019, the ''era of some animals being more equal than others will be over as all Nigerians need to be treated on equal ground and on their individual merit.”

He added “We believe in the forging of Nigerian national unity based on justice and equitable political, social and economic opportunities for all citizens, within a genuine federal system of government on which our diversity is recognised and cherished.''

The Professor also stated that rather than fighting corruption, the PRP Government under their watch will tackle the elements that breed corruption.

This, he said, will be done through public declaration of assets, liabilities comprehensively of all public office holders from the office cleaner up to the Chief Executives of all Government Organizations.

Also the PRP Presidential aspirant vowed to abolish discriminatory salary/ wages system, monitoring of individual investments, private practice by government employees to be banned.

"It was once said that 'The beautiful ones are not yet born'. I can assure you that beautiful ones have been born, nurtured, nurtured, developed and are of age" he said.
