The wife of Nigerian President, Aisha Buhari, is pushing Project 4+4 for her husband and his running mate Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

Campaigns have started ahead of the 2019 general elections that is just 73 days away and everyone is putting strategies together to with the support of Nigerians.

For the wife of the President, women would play a key role in helping her husband achieve a second term. 

Women from all walks of life gathered on Tuesday in Abuja for the Women Leadership Summit where they were told how important they were in making President Muhammadu Buhari's dream of a second term come true.

Also at the meeting was the wife of the Vice President, Mrs Oludolapo Osinbajo and she also sought the support of the women. 

After the meeting, Mrs Buhari shared a post on her Facebook page on the meeting, saying the meeting was held to put strategies together for the campaign for 2019 elections.

"Women have a key role to play in spreading the accomplishments of this administration," she said.

The Project 4+4 emphasises the desire for President Buhari to continue to lead Nigeria for the next four years.

Many politicians from the south-west are throwing their weight on the project, believing that the region will in 2023 present the next Presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) after President Buhari second term in office.
