2019: APC Senatorial Aspirant Vows To Floor Saraki
The myth behind Bukola Saraki as far as politics is concerned in Kwara State will be demystified in 2019 an APC aspirant eyeing a seat in the Senate has vowed.
A Senatorial aspirant from the Kwara Central Senatorial District under the platform of All Progressive Congress, Alhaji Musbaudeen Ajao Esinrogun has expressed the optimism to defeat Senate President Bukola Saraki in the 2019 general election.
Esinrogun in an exclusive interview with BOUNCE NEWS at his campaign office in Ilorin said: "Saraki will fail in his bid to become a Senator in next year general election
"I will defeat him just the way I defeated him in his home base in the last local government election”
Esinrogunjo said that his decision to move into the APC was to prove to the whole world that he was ready to beat Saraki as he had always done in past elections.
The young politician added that he openly decided to decamp to the All Progressives Congress, APC because he cannot work with people like Dr Bukola Saraki whom he described as usurper who has been part of those who limit the progress of Kwara State among other nations
While speaking on the last local government elections, he said "in the last local government election, my supporters, who vied for local government chairmanship positions, polled 26,000 votes but it was upturned for Saraki’s supporters giving us only six thousand and the rest for his people.
"I have all the results with me, we beat him hands down. I will beat him anytime again because Ilorin is fed up of him. His style of leadership differs from how his father does it.”
He urged all his supporters and in the new party APC to ensure that they obtain PVC so as to be able to vote at the time of elections.
