The African Democratic Congress, Oyo State chapter has postponed the flag off campaign of its gubernatorial candidate, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin scheduled to hold on Saturday.

The postponement was due to a directive from the Commissioner of Police over an impromptu engagement by the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The Head of Public Communication and New Media for Senator Olufemi Lanlehin Campaign Organization, Akeem Olatunji, shared this information.

It reads: “The Oyo State ADC gubernatorial candidate’s official flag off ceremony scheduled to hold tomorrow 22/12/18 at Iseyin has been put on hold due to a directive from Oyo State Commissioner of Police as a result of an impromptu All Progressives Congress (APC) engagement.”

Report has it that the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo will be in the state on Saturday.

 However, the new day for the flag off is Monday, December 24, 2018.
