The Super Eagles will on Tuesday commence training for the 2018 Russia World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon.

The team will be led to the Godswill Akpabio stadium, venue of Friday’s fixture, by coach Gernot Rohr and captain John Obi Mikel.

As at Monday night, 16 players arrived in Uyo, while some landed in Lagos and will join up with the rest of the squad on Tuesday.

Players who will begin Tuesday’s training in Uyo are skipper John Obi Mikel, Ogenyi Onazi, Daniel Akpeyi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Dele Alampasu, Ola Aina, Mikel Agu, Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo, Tyronne Ebuehi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Elderson Echiejile, Chidozie Awaziem, Kelechi Iheanacho, William Troost-Ekong, and Wilfred Ndidi.

Players expected on Tuesday are Victor Moses, John Ogu, Anthony Nwakaeme, Leon Balogun, Aaron Samuel, Uche Agbo and Moses Simon.

Nigeria host Cameroon on Friday in the first leg before traveling on a chattered flight to Yaounde for the return leg scheduled for Monday.
