Super Eagles technical adviser Gernot Rohr is worried about the Eagles' wings.

Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho are two strikers whose performances have been crucial in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers.

Unfortunately, both players appear to have been left as reserves in their English clubs.

Iwobi has only seen 21 minutes of action for Arsenal after two matches in the league this season, while Iheanacho has played for just eight minutes for Leicester City.

The duo have been outstanding in Nigeria’s World Cup qualifying campaign, scoring a goal each against Zambia in Ndola in October, 2016.

With Iheanacho battling fitness, and Iwobi threatened to the bench following Alexis Sanchez return, Rohr is concerned the players may not be in the right fighting spirit against Cameroon.

“They are not playing so much, not all the time for their clubs,” he said on Score Nigeria.

“They are missing a big competition, but they are very young with peak motivation, very good qualities, quick links, good pressing and they can score goals.”

Nigeria host Cameroon on September 1 before traveling to Yaounde for the return leg.
