Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has promised to give his all when Nigeria trade tackles with Cameroon in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.

Nigeria host Cameroon at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo on September 1 before playing the return leg away in Yaoundé three days later.

Ogu, who was named alongside 22 others, is thankful for another opportunity to play for his fatherland.

“Always a privilege to be selected by the Coach of the national team and @thenff to represent my Country.I will always give my 100%.” He wrote on twitter.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva midfielder, John Ogu has been left disappointed after his side failed to make it to the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Ogu’s Israeli outfit Hapoel Be'er Sheva were edged out of the UEFA Champions League group stage by Slovenian club, Maribor on Tuesday night.

Maribor lost 2-1 in Israel but the return leg ended 1-0 in favour of the Slovenian club who held on to a 15-minute opener by Mitja Viler.

2-2 it ended but the away goal rule ousts Hapoel.
