Argentine captain, Lionel Messi has named eight players who he believes will shine in Russia 2018 World Cup.

Messi believes Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, Barcelona midfielder, Philippe Coutinho could take the tournament by storm.

The 30-year-old also named the likes of Andres Iniesta, David Silva, Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe as the other players to watch this summer.

Asked who he thinks will impress in Russia, Messi told El Mundo Deportivo “Brazil have Ney and Philippe.”

He added: “Spain have Andres Iniesta and Silva. Germany don’t have any one star but they are very solid.

“Belgium have Hazard and De Bruyne. France has Griezmann and Mbappe.

“The tournament is full of very good players.”
