The Three Lions of England will have an improved squad on Monday as they train for their friendly match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

England host Nigeria at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday before playing Costa Rica on June 7 at Elland Road in Leeds.

The Super Eagles play DR Congo on Monday before traveling to London for the game against England.

Three Lions coach, Gareth Southgate welcomed his Chelsea and Manchester United contingent on Sunday after granting them an extra week off.

Gary Cahill, Ashley Young, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford and Phil Jones are now in camp.

Burnley goalkeeper, Tom Heaton, who is providing back-up for Jordan Pickford, Jack Butland and club-mate Nick Pope before they head to Russia, also reported for duty after sitting out the first week in camp.

Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, alongside standby midfielder Adam Lallana will miss the friendly against Nigeria but are expected to resume camp at the weekend after Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.

England play Tunisia in their first Group G game on June 18, before facing Panama on June 24 and Belgium in their final group game on June 28.
