Getting into the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday to watch the Super Eagles take on Zambia in a crucial World Cup qualifiers has been made easier by the Akwa Ibom State Government.

It is expected that more fans will be able to watch the Nigeria vs Zambia game following the decision by the state government to slash ticket prices by fifty percent.

Popular stands which used to be N1,000 has been put at N500 while Cover stand is pegged at N1,000 instead of the N2,000.

Aside the ticket slash, the State Government has promised Journalists and football fans free internet service inside the Stadium.

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Sports Monday Uko through his media aide, Edidiong Stephen promised that the state government will make available access codes for free internet service.

“There will be free internet services available to fans at Goodwill Akpabio stadium during the Nigeria / Zambia match sponsored by Kalex Solutions Ltd,” he said

“Access codes for the free internet will be embedded in a closed panel on seat covers which will be used to cover seats at the Stadium.
