Super Eagles have been warned against complacency when they host Zambia on October 7 in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.

The Super Eagles top the Group B qualifiers with 10 points and are followed by Zambia who are on 7 points. There are two matches to go, one of which both teams will clash.

A win for Nigeria against Zambia in Uyo confirms the West Africans’ place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, but a loss will see the East Africans level on points.

But former coach of Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso posited that Nigeria should avoid being complacent on October 7.

“Its good to approach the match with a little bit of tension. If we do so we will do well, but if we approach every match with too much confidence, we could fail.” The Elkanemi Warriors coach told Completesports.

“Thank God we are going to play Zambia here in Nigeria. I think when we go all out we are going to get it right.

“If the Super eagles should approach the match agaist Zambia the way we did against Cameroon in Uyo, the game will end in our favour.”

Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel has assured that Nigeria will qualify for the Russia 2018 World Cup.
