2018 WCQ: FC Porto Star Set To Lead Attack Against Super Eagles
Despite being down and out, Algeria are keen to end the 2018 World Cup qualifiers on a high.
The country's new national team coach, Rabah Madjer is prepared to get the best legs to face Nigeria.
It is understood that Madjer has penciled down FC Porto forward, Yacine Brahimi in his squad to face Nigeria in the final African qualifying Group B game for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Brahimi’s club FC Porto have already confirmed the invitation of the 27-year-old for the game billed for November 10 at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine.
The full roster of Algerian players to be invited to face the Super Eagles will be published on Thursday.
Meanwhile, reports in the Algerian press suggest that AS Monaco forward, Rachid Ghezzal could also be handed an invitation to face the Super Eagles.
Ghezzal, 25, has made only two appearances for the Desert Foxes during the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
