Hibernian FC defender, Efe Ambrose has said no tactical plan embarked upon by Zambia will give him sleepless night as he is sure Nigeria will qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Nigeria hosts Zambia on October 7 at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo and needs outright victory to pick the sole ticket in Group B.

Zambia is set to open camp in Spain before moving to Ghana to complete training ahead of the clash against Nigeria.

Ambrose, who won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and has played in both the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2014 FIFA World Cup, said Nigeria needs to be in Russia.

“Zambia are a good side but Nigeria need the World Cup ticket badly after missing out of last two editions of AFCON.

“Super Eagles have come a long way and cannot let this opportunity slip away. I see Nigeria qualifying for Russia. Zambia can’t stop the Super Eagles.” Ambrose told Complete Sports.

Nigeria tops the Africa Group B qualifiers with 10 points, three more than second-placed Zambia.
